Jumped smartly, surged to the front soon after the start, dictated terms comfortably through the backstretch, led into the straight, was strongly pressed by Gold Kite but held on gamely to score a fighting win, displaying true class under pressure.
Broke well, settled in third early, improved steadily approaching the bend, came through the centre with a determined run in the straight, challenged strongly but found one better close home, fought gamely showing fine determination.
Was nicely placed in fourth early, travelled well within striking distance, took the inside run entering the straight, stayed on steadily without menacing the front pair, finished a fair third, indicating honest consistency once again.
Settled mid-field early, improved slightly approaching the 600 metres, raced between horses at the turn, shifted out under pressure in the straight, kept on without quickening, managed to stay on for a close fourth at the finish.
Broke evenly, raced in the rear group early, improved a few lengths along the inside approaching the bend, came under pressure soon after straightening, plugged on at one pace, needs a weaker set to be effective.
Was prominent early after a good jump, raced second briefly before dropping back, turned wide into the straight, found little when asked, faded out in the last furlong, lacked finishing strength, ending well behind the principals.
Raced handy early in second, maintained position till midway, failed to accelerate when the pressure came on turning in, weakened gradually in the straight, dropped out of contention, needs to sharpen finishing effort.
Broke cleanly but failed to get a good position, raced wide most of the way, never improved through the bend, made no impression in the straight, tailed off towards the rear, needs considerable improvement next time.
