Out early, sat fourth behind Rosario, Stormy Sea and Harrison, held a handy spot past the 1200, swung for home wider out in fifth, then surged strongly on the stand side to collar Zacharias and draw away breaking the record for 2000 m
Level break, unhurried early in rear division, improved gradually past the 1200, took the run between horses near the 800, loomed up in the centre entering the straight, headed Stormy Sea, but was overpowered late by Baychimo, finishing clear second, much was expected
Level start, settled last in the early stages, detached two to three lengths behind the pack past the 1200 and 800, came into the straight still at the tail, then stayed on through tiring rivals to finish on for third without threatening the first two
Level break, was third nearing the mile then drifted to race outside Harrison in mid-division by the 1200, tracked them into the bend around fifth, presented in the straight but only kept on at one pace, finishing just behind Gunsmoke
Broke well, tracked Rosario throughout, sat second past the 1800, 1200 and 800 in a prominent stalking role, inching closer on the turn, led briefly in the straight when Rosario faded, but was soon challenged, headed by Zacharias and Baychimo, weakening late
Sharp beginning, immediately took over, led by two lengths at the 1800, stretched six clear at the 1200 and almost 8-9 lengths lead at the 800 in a runaway lead, still ahead turning for home, but tired badly in the straight to fade into second last
Level start, held the rail in third early behind Rosario and Stormy Sea, maintained that inside spot past the 1200 and 800, still close but under pressure on the bend in fourth, failed to pick up in the straight and dropped away to finish last
