Out on even keel, moved up early on the outside of moonlight speed, raced handy in mid-bunch, entered the straight close up, stayed on between runners under pressure to finish a fighting third in a tight minor placing
Clean jump, sat midfield behind the prominent quartet through the early stages, held position approaching the bend, came into the straight with work to do, improved steadily in the last part to figure in a close battle for the minor placing
Missed it as wild child was slowly out and lost ground, trailed early before recovering to join the bunch, still towards the rear at the bend, made some headway in the straight but could not reach the front division
