Jumped on terms, settled mid-field early, improved steadily approaching the bend, made a sweeping move on the outside into the straight, accelerated strongly in the last furlong to surge ahead and win decisively, displaying class and fine temperament.
Broke well, raced close to the pace, travelled smoothly in third till the bend, slipped through the inner rails in the straight, briefly led but was overpowered late by Drisana, fought gamely to finish second.
Began quickly, led early by a narrow margin, held sway till the last 300 metres, came under pressure when challenged, stayed on but was passed close home, lacked the final finishing touch, finished third.
