Broke on even terms, settled just off the early scrimmage behind Legacy, Cristaldo and Trillionaire, turned for home in third, then surged down the centre to hit the front and drew clear, scoring decisively at the finish.
Level start, moved between runners to emerge with the lead, settled second behind Cristaldo approaching the bend, loomed down the centre in the straight, kept finding under pressure and stayed on resolutely to finish a clear second.
