Out smartly, settled second behind Blinky Bill, shuffled to third when Trillionaire swept past to lead at the 600m, loomed up on the stand side in the straight, moved very fast wide outside, finishing strongly but just denied at the post.
Nice break from outer draw, rushed up from stall twelve to race prominently behind the early trio, held fourth approaching the 600m and around the bend, produced in the straight behind Cortado and Cache, stayed on steadily to grab third close home.
Clean jump, tucked in behind the early leaders after settling near fifth, held the rails as Trillionaire went on to lead at the 600m in mid-division, cornered saving ground, briefly in third entering the straight, then kept on at one pace to finish fourth.
