Clean jump, settled handily behind the early leaders, held a smooth midfield sit through the backstretch, came into the home turn in fourth, then quickened resolutely in the straight to collar most ahead and finish a strong second on the post
Nice break, raced in touch but not far off the rear early, improved gradually down the back, circled the bend around fifth, then stayed on determinedly in the straight, keeping on under pressure to grab the minor placing close to the winning line
Out well, settled in midfield with cover in the early strides, maintained that slot mid-race, turned for home around sixth, then shifted out and ran on steadily in the straight, passing a few one-paced runners to secure a late fourth at the wire
Level start, allowed to drop into the second half of the field early, held that position without improving mid-race, swung the home turn about seventh, then plugged on gamely inside the last 300m to overtake some weakening rivals and finish a closing fifth
Smooth beginning, sat just worse than midfield in the early rush, raced similarly placed through the middle section, negotiated the bend in eighth, then tried to angle out and stayed on one-paced in the run-in to hit the line in midfield without threatening the principals
Started on even keel, restrained towards the rear soon after the jump, continued there as the leaders quickened mid-race, took the home turn around ninth, then made only marginal headway under pressure, staying on at the same pace to finish in the latter half
Level break, dropped back to race second-last in the early part, remained there through the mid-race tempo, cornered for home in tenth, then struggled to pick up when asked, merely holding position and finishing towards the rear without ever getting competitive
Got off well but was quickly eased to the tail of the field, never improved as the pace lifted mid-race, turned for home last, and though urged in the straight could not advance, completing the course detached and finishing a well-beaten runner
Nice break, but soon shuffled back to the extreme rear, continued last throughout the middle stages, negotiated the home turn still at the back, and failed to make any impression in the straight, trailing in behind all the others at the finish
